Happy New Year! We are all so excited for a new year that’s going to be filled with friendship, inclusion, and great memories. The YLC has some great things planned for 2022, so we just wanted to update you all on how you can stay connected with us in the new year:
Follow us on social media @bestbuddiesylc! We post regularly on Instagram and LinkedIn, so that’s a great way to stay up to date on what we’re doing, see some amazing stories about chapters and members of the Best Buddies community, and learn more about Best Buddies as a whole!
Subscribe to our monthly newsletter! We send out a newsletter the first Monday of every month sharing what we’re up to on the council, content our initiatives have put out, upcoming projects we’re working on, and we spotlight different council members.
Subscribe to our YouTube channel. We post content every month ranging from interviews with members of the Best Buddies community to accessibility content to information about YLC applications.
Check out our Resource Bank which has different resources that the YLC has created for chapter and community leaders. You can use anything you find in the Resource Bank for your chapter and community.
Check out our LinkTree for all of the above links as well as other important links that we utilize on the council.
Also, if you are a Best Buddies leader who wants to make an impact on the Best Buddies community, then you should APPLY to be on the YLC. Applications open February 1st and close March 1st. You will be able to find the application on https://www.bestbuddies.org/bbu/schools/ylc/ on February 1st. Email ylc@bestbuddies.org with any questions.
