Best Buddies Month!!

To close out March (aka Best Buddies month) YLC member Jamie touched on what Best Buddies means to her:

It's Best Buddies Month! I’m very grateful for Best Buddies because it gives us friendship and it helps us be involved with and meet new friends. 

It also leads us to finding a job or just volunteering with others like I do in the YLC. The YLC is fun organization of young leaders that helps Best Buddies and YLC members get to learn more about teamwork and leadership. It shows us we can do anything we set our mind too! 

Best Buddies teaches us about advocating for others and ourselves. Best Buddies teaches us so many things! Through Best Buddies, we can learn how to make friends and things we can do with friends. Best Buddies also teaches us how to find a job and provides us with a job coach when we need it. 

Best Buddies is more than just a program, it is part of my life. I love being part of Best Buddies and doing activities like Best Buddies prom and going to the Predators (NHL hockey team) games. I also love speaking at events.
