As we celebrate the spookiest holiday this week, let's take a look at some of our favorite buddy costumes and fun activities! 

So many Best Buddies members dressed up for Halloween this year, and we wanted to highlight their creative costumes! This is a great social media post idea for your chapter. Post each of your buddies costumes on your chapter's Instagram or Facebook account to highlight their outfits for the night! Here are just a few: 

Additionally, we would also like to highlight some Halloween activity ideas that you and your chapter can plan for next year! First of all, planning a Halloween social is a great way for members to spend time with their buddies and participate in festive activities at the same time. Some ideas for things to do in your next Halloween social include painting costumes and creating a spooky snack mix. Additionally, another great Halloween themed idea is having a costume "fashion show". Here, everyone who dressed up can have the chance to show off their costumes to other members. It is super easy to plan and your members will love it! 

Finally, take your buddy out for trick or treating! This can either be at a Best Buddies planned event or through the neighborhood on the 31st. If neighborhood trick or treating is too chaotic, plan your own trick or treating event! For example, a couple schools in Katy, Texas teamed up to host a Trunk or Treat event over the weekend! All you need is an empty lot and some candy!
