Best Buddies Prom

It's almost that time of the year again! It's time for Best Buddies Prom, where programs from around the world get together to throw a prom for people with disabilities.

When I went to Best Buddies Prom, it was one night full of fun and feeling like a celebrity. Most people with disabilities don't get to attend their high school's prom. We miss out on all the fun. So, Best Buddies put on a prom for us, including music and free food. We even had Bret Eldridge come to Prom before! During my Prom, we all got dressed up and went to a party beforehand.

Prom is a big event for people with disabilities. It is a night where you show up, dance the night away, go to the Photo Booth for pictures, and more! Prom takes place every year, often in the winter.  If you’re able to go to prom, have fun and live it up for the night!
